Community Partners

Actors’ Mission has partnered with many other organizations over the years to further its goal of bringing quality theater to the Rock Springs and Green River area, and supporting the arts in Sweetwater County. Below are some of our major partners who deserve recognition for their contributions to the Actors’ Mission’s success.
Sweetwater BOCES
Sweetwater BOCES has awarded the Actors’ Mission grant money that has provided funds for significant growth and expansion of the theater and its resources. BOCES director Dr. Bernadine Craft has been an avid supporter of the Actors’ Mission since its inception, and the theater is proud to have the support of her and the BOCES board of directors in their goal to bring quality theater to Sweetwater County.
In an effort to give something back for this generous support, Actors’ Mission sometimes teaches classes in acting and public speaking to children and teenagers as part of Sweetwater BOCES annual summer learning programs.
Community Fine Arts Center
The Community Fine Arts Center, located inside Rock Springs Library in Rock Springs, has been working for decades to bring art to Sweetwater County. In 2012, Actors’ Mission partnered with this important local organization to bring an exhibit of local art by local artists entitled “The Geography of Heaven: How the Wyoming Landscape Impacts the Human Spirit”. The exhibit featured well known and up and coming artists from the area and was run concurrently with the Actors’ Mission production of “The Geography of Heaven” by Nina Kessner. The exhibit was considered a great success by both the CFAC and Actors’ Mission, and was very well received by the community.
Wyoming Arts Council
Through grants, partnerships, programs and unique opportunities, the Wyoming Arts Council provides funding and support statewide for projects big and small. Just as the WAC plays an important role in the economic and social development of every community by investing in the arts, Actors’ Mission has exposed the citizens of Sweetwater County to the dramatic arts through our professional-level productions. We are a proud partner of the Wyoming Arts Council.
